             Gatbaru Rajamaha Temple is a very beautiful place of worship..

    Many devotees come from all over to visit this holy shrine and this is a place with many miracles and wonders...

      here the presiding deity is Rajjuru Bandara. This deity punishes people who do misdeeds. 

     It is our practice as the devotees of this god to take refuge in the blessings of this god. This is very miraculous. 

     It is very auspicious. This Gatabaru temple is built on a high hill. 

It is an area surrounded by rakshitas like Diyadawa Sinharajaya. 

   It was built during the time of King Valagambha and this  It was discovered by a person named Elias Hami. 

    Beautiful painting patterns can be seen. 

      Sometimes it is very troublesome for the devotees who come to worship.. 

   Here the Gatabaru Randoli Maha Perahera is held in a very grand manner every year..

This is an ancient cave temple. 

It is rich in biological diversity.

 It is known as small Kataragama. 

One opinion is that this may have been createග්d to unify the government seeking protection for King Valagambha.

 In times of good or bad things that people face, they walk to this land to dig, to dig, to tie mats, etc. 

 Many people will come to seek blessings for the activities.
